TEDxLoodusele
The event takes place on October 22, 2011, at Rocca al Mare school in Tallinn, the capital of Estonia.
Our event will bring together persons working in the field of recycling, nature conservation, environmental law, economy, agriculture, civil society, and forestry. Speakers are personalities and bright professionals both from Estonia and abroad. They are invited to analyze, to reroute, to plan and to increase understanding of our common environment. There are so many of us on Earth, and space is getting densified. Still, we hope too find enough space for everyone!
Event is held mainly in Estonian and therefore all materials are presented in Estonian.
What is TEDx?
In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TED has created a program called TEDx.
TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. Our event is called TEDxTallinn, where x = independently organized TED event. At our TEDxTallinn event, TEDTalks video and live speakers will combine to spark deep discussion and connection in a small group. The TED Conference provides general guidance for the TEDx program, but individual TEDx events, including ours, are self-organized.
